Step 1
Navigate to your ESXi server’s IP address or domain name and login.
Step 2
Select Manage in the left sidebar Navigator to access the settings for your host.
Step 3
Select the Services tab, then scroll down to find the SSH service
Step 4
Highlight SSH service, right-click and then select Start.
Step 5 (optional)
By right-clicking on a service, you can adjust the policy for the service. (This means you can set the service to remain on based on firewall ports or with the host and after a restart. I normally choose start and stop with the host so that the SSH service will remain on if the server is restarted.
